Thomas LEWIS [L1] married Sarah
Ebenezer LEWIS [L2]married Sarah SMITH at St Luke's Old Street, London on 1 April 1813
Ebenezer (or Ebeneza - EMB refers to this as proper spelling, used in b cert of Maud) Henry LEWIS [L3]baptised 12 December 1815 at Union Independent, Islington. In the 1881 census age 64 which equates to a birth in 1816/7. His birthplace is given as Marylebone. Married Ellen KNIGHTS in 18?? . Note suggests that in 1881 census she is aged 40 so born 1840/41. note mentions Aylsham RD (Norfolk?) for birth of EK or marriage. 7 children all born Islington (RD?). At 81 and 91 censuus at 31 Wellington Road. 1891 Ebeneza a professor of dancing.

James Henry LEWIS [L4] born 5 June 183? in Marylebone. He married Emily Ann MARDLIN [L4a, M?] on 19 January 1861 at St John's Paddington. Emily had been born on 14 August 1835 in Puckeridge, Herts and was baptised on 20 September at Arrington , Cambridgshire. They had ten children. At baptism of Emily Mardlin LEWIS, JML is identified as a professor of music of 15 George Street, St Pancras. James Henry died on 1 September 1904 at Ilford, Emily Ann on 2 February 1930 in Clacton, Essex. Both were buried at St Peter's, Aldborough Hatch.
Emily Mardlin LEWIS b 1 December 1861 Somers Town, St Pancras, baptised at St John's, Paddington on 29 December 1861. She m 1885 to Edwin Henry STEVENS ('Henry' b 12 February 1863, d 17 December 1946) both buried at St Peter's Aldborough Hatch. They had five children
